I don't blame women here for not advertising their gender. Couple years ago I changed my avatar to a picture of my wife and got hit on almost instantly. Slightest hint that a forum member is female and, for better or worse, suddenly that's all anyone can talk about.

Maybe I'm lucky but half off the people I work with are all women.
Producers,writers,cameraman, editors.

We can have a poll and we can choose whose hot and whose not.:kiss:
 
I can't really address the indy scene, but on studio projects there are a lot of women in both technical and creative positions.
 
There's a couple actresses around as well. Rebecca from Norms shorts comes to mind although I don't think she posts that much, but she's been a regular around dvx for quite some time.

I'm a male, and no I'm not hot. Used to be. Not now, unless your an old nag and likes other old nags.

Facebook is something I am starting to hate. I only keep it to talk to friends here and there and see what people are up to.
 
i love facebook mostly due to the video application. i upload all my videos i make on there and get lots of positive feedback (comments) from my friends. if i didnt have that, i'd feel like i was alone with no support.... sad, but true!

i also like creeping on peoples profiles... heh. ;)

I'm waiting for the day were some guys life gets ruined cos someone posts a picture without asking or thinking twice. That's what bugged me about it and the reason I don't have a page anymore, people just posting up pictures, not ever asking, not that I have anything to hide, but still bugs me that whenever someone takes pictures at a party or something, immediately there up on facebook, the next day.

EDIT: I see no reason to participate in social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook. I have never had the desire and probably never will.
 
lol. I'm not on Facebook and never will be.

Reminds me of my neice trying my xbox live game Ghost Recon, a war game. I told her, in all my wisdom, if you go on there, guys will be 'all' over you. Voice mike was included as part of the game so you can talk to people live as your playing.

She did...they did. I got to listen to the first night through the TV so we weeded out a few of the bad ones. I'm sitting there drinking and listening to these guys and jumping in going "hey hey hey, that's my neice"...ya know.

Then later , the guys would see Raptor365 logging in and playing and join the game, to find out it's me. The tone of thier voice would change pretty quickly, haha.
 
Well, I get in a habit creeping people's profiles. And always run into hearing something I probably shouldn't have. And its hard to filter all the pictures and stuff. I don't allow people to take pictures of me at parties. But those get up still. And you need to go and detag them and everything. And making sure you watch what ends up on your wall.

I hate it, but I don't want to delete it just yet. My myspace is long since dead. As are my blogs and journals. The only social thing I have online yet it facebook. And it's days are numbered.

I'm coming in late, but I thought I'd add, I dont. I find a woman with a spatula and oven mitts much sexier.
