Anyone remember the Cartoon "Duck Tales"?

Blathering Blatherskyte, that was the most twisted thing I've ever seen, the fbi with a lasers through the smoke was great.
 
Duck Tales was the best Disney cartoon that used Walts original creations since, well, the 20'ies-50'ies, IMO.

Its a shame Disney is not making an effort to continue these series. Their wloe Disneyland and toy business relies on brand recognition, for example. As kids grow old and forget about these characters, their mass market appeal will also disappear...

I used to read A LOT disney comics when I was a kid. Major Duck Tales plot lines actually came from the Uncle Scrooge comics. They could do the same from the Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, etc. ones and do a new show...

I wonder how many people are reading this thread and didn't watch the video in the opening post? My guess is many... but either way... yeah, watched the original show. Is that what you really intended to talk about?

Isn't it amazing how far reaching Indiana Jones is? It reminds me of the star wars chart again... Raiders spawned a ton of sh*t also.
 
maybe i'm stretching the topic here but i also enjoyed the teenage mutant ninja turtles (especially with casey jones cameos) and gargoyles. i also have fond memories playing the tailspin and ducktales nintendo games. time to see if nes emulators are around for mac.....

Also liked the Turtles (old version )

Gargoiles was probably the last fine Disney Broadcast Cartoon.

Ducktales would be a big Box Office Summer Cartoon movie, IMO. (Done in 2d, of course. Either that or the CG had to be cell shaded)
