I've discovered the gem that is Vimeo HD, so it's about time I share a little of what I do with you folks... I've started to post some demo reels at:

Feedback and constructive criticism about the production elements from other shooters is extremely appreciated.

I'm still trying to hone my focus, lighting and framing technique - so for now, I just try to make such mistakes work. As everyone here knows, what we do is challenging and we will be honing our craft as long as we are alive. But, no doubt, we get better not only with practice, but by sharing our experiences with others and discussing ways to improve.
 
the brightness of the hvx200 lcd flipout is brighter that what is being recorded . latter i look back and say wow i needed more light. i now set the brightness down on the lcd. i liked it . your edit could be alot quicker on some shots and some tight quick reaction shots of the guys would have made it more fun.
 
Thank you, John, I appreciate that. Due credit to DVXUser and guys like you who make sharing information possible. Most of my purchasing decisions were finalized through reading these forums.
 
That stuff looks great! The Matt Ryan piece looked like alot of fun to shoot, not many people can say they worked on a film with a first round draft pick!

I work in sports production so I really appreciate this kind of stuff.
