Calibrating Marshall with the HVX

I'm trying to get the Marshall to be the correct brightness, contrast, color, etc, and I'm not sure how to have the monitor show me what I will actually get with the HVX.

The knobs don't really have markings, and there is no display on the monitor that shows me any numbers. I do feel a tiny click when the knock hits the middle, but I feel that when the brightness is set to the middle point, it is much darker than what I see on my HVX lcd. Help?

you kinda cant. the marshall doesnt display the correct dynamic range or gamma.

So far I've just been turning the contrast up all the way and leaving everything else at center (detent). It seems to be pretty workable that way. I haven't yet tried a proper calibration because it seemed sort of funky out of the box in the way that Timur seems to be alluding to.

Yeah, but I'm sure that I can get the contrast and exposure somewhat similar to what I will get in the computer right?
