Was the 200P made after the 200A? I'm looking for an HVX200A with the improvements panasonic made to it over the 200.

The 200p is the original North American HVX200. The "A" is the newer model. The 200A retails for $5299 through Panasonic Authorized / Flagship Dealers, like Spec-Comm.

Just to be up front, this camera will not be sent to Africa. I will not accept an "additional $100 for shipping and sent it urgently by USPS Priority International for deliver in 8 - 10 days". No matter how much the prospective buyer implores me of how much their son / employer might need it. I realize a lot of people interested in this camera would love to come see it, but are currently traveling to Spain / Portugal / Bahamas for a long needed vacation or an important international conference. Still, I want to make sure that you are able to inspect the kit and be sure you know what you are getting.

If you are a DVXUser with hundreds of posts, I'd be interested to discuss our gear for sale. If you are a scammer, please go to Craigslist and troll around there. I swear, I am ready to punch someone in the throat. And, conversely, also ready to sell this camera to a needy filmmaker!
