PK's Karaoke World Record Attempt (40+ hrs of singing badly)

I hope that $1560 total is actually a lot higher. Otherwise, shame on us here at DVXuser -- we should've been a few thousand on our own.

Nonetheless, great job, PK & the Gang!
 
I matched an offer by ZeroG (I think his brother) to pay $10/hr from when we made the offer (approximately 9:00 AM PST) until the record was broken (approximately 12:00 PM PST) ... that's 15 hours, so I'll be happily giving an additional $150 ... Anyone else wanna match it?

whew....

That was insane.
We were able to cheer PK on to a few more hours after he smashed the record.
I didn't think he'd go that long, but we were up until almost 6am our time (CST) before he finally called it quits.

He did an incredible rendition of 'I did it my way' as his finale.
It was awesome.

It was great to see DVXuser represent, both in the chat room and in donations.
I'm 99% certain the donation total is well above the number they have posted right now... not sure what that's all about.

All around, a huge success.

That was one of the most entertaining things I have seen in my entire life. Congratulations PK! Thank you to everyone who helped - Thartley, Ming, etc. Thank you to Luis for putting up with me in the live chat (which was amazingly fun, by the way). And thank you Jason for not banning me like you said you would, I think I may have cried. :)

PS: I think we should have DVXuser Live Chat parties where anything goes. Then I would NEVER get any work done. :grin:

That was definitely one of the high points of the night.
Hats off to Jarred and DVXuser for the massive support.
That was by far one of the best Celine Dion renditions I've ever heard.

(then again, I can't stand Celine Dion)

Yes, I do, I am working revisions for a Twilight scripts right now. Tomorrow I will work them on another and hopefully read Simon's script. But if he keeps complaining, maybe I NEVER will. :evil:
