waiting for my Chiniz mics Oleg. Ill be sure to post some info about them when I get to test them out, prior to application.
 
Oleg got the mics today. Havent had the chance to try them out yet, but these things are built like tanks. Solid as anything.
 
Oleg just to conifrm. Top and bottom switch functions - attenuator and -10 db pad?
 
Thanks Oleg, that explains what I am hearing.

What would recommend as best ? top -10 or 0 bottom 0? My initial is 0 / 0 letting the mixer do the work.
 
never engage the attenuation if you dont need it , it would rise the mic self noise and more noise by pushing the preamp gain .
use it only if you over load the input or need to work with minimum gain

about 75hz low cut , it quit depends what hi pass filter you have on your mixer and how doe s it sounds to you , i usially cut directly on mic and engage the mixer or recorder high pass when i feel i need more .
