$24.00 Fisherman Follow Focus

The fishing reel is set up right, with a few hose clamps. I'm making a guide on how to DIY FF, but I'm having trouble finding time at the moment, busy busy. :) These were the only pictures I have of the unit for now, I'll take a few more photos tonight of just the body. :)

Sorry guys no dice, second drive didn't have anything on it. It really sucks that stic*y*od wouldn't just keep the pictures up, guess I didn't spend enough money. Anyway I'll try one more thing if you guys really want to see them ?


I'll have to dig in my garage and find the old war handle. Get back to you tomorrow.
 
I got a quick tip re follow focus gears...

Traxxas make model trucks that use 0.8mod/32p spur gears. You can get a 72t gear with the right tooth pitch for afew dollars from a model shop.

Ask for a Tmaxx spur gear.
 
I've looked everywhere and couldn't find anything. So I've gone ahead and dug thru box after box and I found the old beast.

Damn dude! that thing is a HELL of a lot more fisherman than mine was. I kinda tore my fishing reel apart (and lost some structural integrity in th eprocess you just went ahead and used the whole bloody thing! HOLY WOW!
 
I know. I just got an Indi Focus myself and retired the old one. Oh such sweet memories...

But thanks to Twocik for even suggesting it and inspiring me. Got LOTS of great use out of the old FFF.
