Hi,

The video:

http://www.vimeo.com/1415527

This is a continuation of a video that I posted a few months back. The remaining 9 parts will be only given the go ahead, by the powers that be, if this one is well received. It's a fun project and I really hope that I get to finish the story.

If you enjoy it, want to see more, and would like to support a fellow dvx'er, please head on over to the vid at youtube and leave some nice words and/or ratings.

Shot with a HVX using the stock len. A crew of one. Me.

I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks, Paul

I was a little confused at the beginning, but the story developed better toward the end so I was bummed it was over.

Good work on keeping your reflection off the car btw, I was constantly looking for a slip up but never saw one.

The idea is to give just enough information during that opening minute so that you get a general idea of what could be happening. Its meant to tap into all the set ups in other films of this kind. It makes me chuckle. There's a fine line between tongue-in-cheek, and just plain rubbish.

Also, the main guy is confused as to what is going down and hasn't had enough time to piece everything together, himself. He'll learn what is going on and how it effects everybody over the course of the series.

Thanks for the relflection comment. There is one moment during the steadicam shot where the rig can briefly be seen. Its not too bad, though.

Heh. Yeah the simple effects can be quite effective. Took the main image from Google. Took away the cars and added some clouds in After Effects.

The BBC have just used a little snippet of this vid in the webseries which follows the making of the Internet Zombie Movie, which can be seen either here:

or here:

Will be interesting to see if they get to finish the film within their deadline.
