WTB: Sony UVW-1800 Betacam SP Deck

In the market for a UVW-1800 BetaSP deck. I've got my eye on a few on fleaBay, but I thought I'd check here to see if anyone was looking to unload one. Needs to be an 1800 or equivalent BVW model, as I need RS-422 deck control. Would prefer "low" hours, but will consider a well-loved model if the price is right. Looking to buy in the next few days, as the producer is breathing down my neck. Please PM me with details and a price including your shipping charges.

Recorder, preferably (ie. UVW-1800). However, if you've got a screaming deal on a UVW-1600, I'd consider that as well. The most important factor is RS-422 control, which the 1600/1800 have. I already have a UVW-1400, which is a recorder, but it only has RS-232 control which is pretty much useless for any kind of batch capture/machine control purposes.
 
cbrougham, We have a used UVW-1800 in the shop, but I will have to check if we can sell it. We are using it tape transfers.

Would you be interested in a PVW model? I 'll get you the exact model tomorrow.. We have one that is BRAND NEW, yes brand new. Someone in our store misplaced it in our inventory like 5-6 years ago.

Might be interested in the PVW if the price is right--they tend to go for a little/lot more than the UVW series. Don't have a huge budget to work with, unfortunately, but am willing to entertain ideas. And again, it doesn't necessarily have to be a recorder--that's a nice option, but not essential for my needs. I just have something like 400 BetaSP tapes to ingest :shocked:
