Hi,
I'm selling my Hvx200 and Cartoni Focus F102 tripod system w/ carrying bag. Both items were purchased from Audio video Supply in Nov. 07. Both items are in perfect condition.
The Hvx200 has 17 hours of use ( honestly...I thought I might be reading it wrong and it might be 1.7 hours of use. I never even did much with it. I just set it up and pointed at some stuff in my house and back yard). I never had any P2 cards. I just used firewire to my laptop.
The Cartoni Focus Tripod system is a 2-stage tripod w/ spreader. It has a 100mm bowl. You can look it up at B&h and other places. I took it out of the bag about 5 times just to set it up and take some shots.
I'm selling these plus other items to come because I realize that I'm not going to do this. It's sort of sad, I guess, because like all of you I had a dream to make films or at least my one film idea. Due to personal problems and my own lack of mental fortitude I never wrote my screenplay and all the stuff I purchased just sat in my closet or under my bed. I thought having the equipment would inspire me, but I just never got going. I'm 37 now and started wanting to make a movie at 19! Depression will definitely steal your dreams and life away! I'm going to pay off my credit cards, move, and go back to school. I need a life. The only thing I'm keeping is Final Draft 7...so I do have a glimmer of hope still in me.
I've been a member here for 2 years and this is where I learned what I know. I came here almost everyday for the first year. I never posted because I didn't (and still don't) feel knowledgeable enough about filmmaking to give advice. Plus, I always used the search function extensively so as not to have to bug someone w/ a question.
I'm a very honest person and seller. You can look under my ebay name (Newdir) to see my track record there. If I don't sell these here, then that's where I'll be next. I just sold my Rush Hamden filmmaking course there.
I'm selling the Hvx200 w/ Barry's book and both of the Bootcamp Dvds for $3500.00. It comes with all the accessories and I'm throwing in my 15 foot RIGHT ANGLE firewire cord( see I did learn from this site).
I'm selling the Cartoni Focus Tripod system for $850.00.
I have other things to come like some of Richard's Coollights, arri lights, and Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, etc.
If you have any questions, please ask.
Have a good one,
Chad
