Well my filter arrived - but its not what I paid for!
Mark you sold me a Combination Enhancing Polarizing filter but the filter that has arrived is just a standard polarizer! I have confirmed this with Tiffen directly.
This is not cool - I could have purchased a brand new Polarizer for the money I paid!
Please answer this thread and tell me what you are going to do to sort me out - as I am not happy with the situation as it stands...

I have been out of town, just getting your messages. I emailed you before I left the tracking numbers. here they are 2306-3250-0000-2045-5551 & 5544 are the last four numbers for the box number two. In my email I told you it had to go 7-10 ground due to size and lbs. Please check and confirm the tracking numbers then give me an honest feedback....
Sorry about any confusion, but you should be getting it any day..... Check with USPS. and it is insured should anything happen. I am covered and so are you.... Any problems call me....

Never received an e-mail from you. In your last private post you said the package went out on the 8th and then you were going to send me the tracking numbers. Never heard from you until I sent you a private message today saying I was disputing the Paypal transaction. I tried your tracking numbers and USPS has no record of this item. At this point Mark because you haven't communicated with me I'm feeling like this might be a scam. I have lost confidence in you as a seller. If I am to accept this package what I'll need from you is your phone number, the Spec Comm serial number so I can double check the camera warranty and your address. Sorry but like I said I've lost confidence. This is something I should have done prior to the purchase but after reading the posts of buyers who received their items and vouched for you I thought I would be ok.

Yeah, according to USPS it's been accepted on July 17th. If it's been shipped Parcel Post, could be up to 30 days depending on geography. On a sidenote, I ordered a windscreen from Micover on 6/30 and I only received it today 7/21, shipped via Parcel Post*groan*. I appreciate the idea of keeping costs down, but c'mon, Parcel Post a sock??

there has to be a better way of communicaton after an item has been sold.
not saying there is any shady dealings on mark anthonys part. but if i'm spendin in the $1000s I'd at least welcome a courtesy call or email to give me peace of mind being that none of us in the market place realy kno eachother.
to many scams out there and though I feel that most people on here easpecialy if you have senior status are legit. there is always one seeking to play someone.
In all honesty, I don't feel that anyone on here would feel safe after the'd made a purchase in the $1000s and had not recieved their product o communicated with the saler for weeks.

He's a good guy and I'm sure you'll find all you purchased well packed and safely arrived in a matter of days. Heck, he sent me more than I purchased! Now, if I could just get the time to learn to use all of it!
I researched your tracking numbers for you. You can follow them, to some degree via www.usps.com - I imagine if they are parcel post, the information won't be updated daily as it wasn't in my case.

Not to be an a$$hole here - but Mark you have ignored my message regarding the Tiffen filter you sent and I am getting realy pissed...
You did not send me the $300+ filter you promised but a simple Polarizer which I paid almost full price for.
I have phoned Tiffen directly and they confirm that I do not have the correct filter and that the one you sent is a standard pol.
What are you going to do to sort me out????
I am happy to keep the filter you sent if you would refund me a part of the payment - say $60 - but I am not happy to pay full price on a second hand filter!

If you are spending $1000s of dollars on a purchase you'd expect some contact. The thing that REALLY makes me nervous is Mark said he would try and get this out by July 3rd. I know it is right before the holiday so it is completely understandable that he didn't do it BUT the next time I heard from him he said he sent it out on the 8th of July. If the tracking number is correct and maybe I'm reading this wrong but is USPS saying that the shipment was accepted by them in CA on the 17th (assuming thats where Mark shipped from)? If that is the case then he lied when he said it was shipped on the 8th. I think you can see why I'm a little nervous. I know that some of you have had good transactions with Mark and thats why I trusted him because of those posts during the sale.
So what would you guys do if this package came knowing this info? If this is a scam wouldn't I have a better chance of contesting this without a delivery than accepting it? I feel like this isn't a scam but I think I have grounds to be careful. What do you guys think?
