does your 'avatar' effect people opinions?

Definitely the avatar colors my opinion. Like when someone uses a photo of an actor over and over, you start to actually believe the poster looks something like that! Certainly, when the avatar is a picutre of a girl, I'm inclined to think of the poster as female too, even though it seems some guys use female avatars because they think the girl is hot (or they have deep-seated cross-gender fantasies). And obviously the choice of an avatar is reflective of the person's POV at least a little bit!
 
Thanks! Yeah, we didn't know how to make that look real, so we made it look as bad as possible. I didn't want people saying, "you didn't really jump off that bridge." This would stop them early on and just let them laugh at the stupidity. I really DID ride down the road at 60 mph on the side of that vehicle, though. That box was not very wind resistant, and I didn't realize it until it was too late.
