I can't believe this Gary and I arrived yesterday morning about 9am and were picked up by The Dude and Matt G (from STL) and drove straight to the HEEB shoot...put to work immediately. Gary and I are a couple of burnt dudes.
Mark and Luis have been very gracious thus far. We ate at a Pizza Diner last night. F*ckin huge slices of pizza.
Gary and I must still be on Texas time, we both past out last night about 11 something and woke up at 6:45ish this morning. Then looked at the time and we're both like Damnit...I thought it was later than that...so here I am...
Anyhoos...see you fellers tonight!!

Well I made it to my cousin's in Costa Mesa about 11:30 last night ... only about 30 minutes longer than I estimated the trip would take, so not bad at all. I too have been up for several hours, but unfortunately my cuz doesn't have internet, so I had to wait until I got showered and dressed and now I'm sitting at a Panera Bread just off Newport in Costa Mesa.
Looking forward to seeing everyone this evening ... though after word I suspect I may wish I had stayed home :evil:

I'm up early as well. Yes, for this time of year, 8:30 is early for me. 
Taking care of some last minute preparations, will probably head out around 10 and roll into town at about 3.

Hey guys yeah I usually get up about 6:30 when the kids get up. Sometimes I sleep later if they aren't fighting. But today i got up at 6:00 and haven't been able to get back to sleep maybe all the excitement about tonight. Man I can't wait to meet you guys and see who comes out at the #1-#3 spots. the suspense is killing me. See you all tonight.

So I don't have enough cash in the bank for gas, and my parents are out of town, so I can't get any gas money from them. I only have about half a tank right now. I don't think I'm going to make it.

So to what extent is this actually starting at 6? Some of my friends want to come check it out but it's pretty much impossible for anyone to get there before 7 or 8. Is it "show up and hang out and drink a bit and then we'll start the movies"? Because that sounds like a super good plan!

Well i did a stupid thing today, i had my iPhone sitting on the charger and noticed itunes said the 2.0 upgrade was available so i clicked "yes". Totally forgetting today is the 3G release day i thought nothing of it and now have a unactivated phone... GRR
I will give it another 30 min of trying and then restore it.
