New Letus Ultimate Footage

disjecta

Lucky Duck
Here is a combination of shots, some with natural light, some with a reflector with the setting sun acting as a strong light source. It's a mish mosh of wide, medium and closeups to demonstrate how the Ultimate can handle all of these situations.

Camera is Canon XHA1

The Quicktime file has rendered everything brighter than the original so keep that in mind when you are looking at the not so deep blacks.

I used a combination of the following Nikon lenses:
24mm f2.8
35mm f1.4
50mm f1.8
55mm f2.8 macro
100mm f2.8
200mm f4.0

The first sky shot (clouds) was shot at f11 and the second blue sky rotating into the tree is shot at f8.

Seriously that looks pretty amazing. That is quite the adapter. I think its mind boggling that its worth almost twice as much as your camera. But on the flip side, those images are amazing, people who crap talk the Xha1 need to look no further than that, myself included. AMAZING.

beautiful stuff steve. Love the last shot demonstrating the bokeh. Adapter looks great.

Love the flipped verizon phone shot :P

Wowza! That looks GOOD!

BTW! That shot with the waterfall and hotel(?) in the back, is that where Twin Peaks was shot?

Wow! Looks great!

And your sister is growing up before our eyes! She's a celebrity! :Drogar-SunGlass(DBG

Where do you live man? goodness waterfalls? Jeepers no wonder you guys footage looks so good - Location-Location-Location! hahaha :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

Great job and thanks for sharing!

Beautiful stuff. And your daughter has amazing screen presence. Can she act? If so, she could be a star...

If not, she's still an adorable kid : )

How do we just download the 100+mb quicktime. I prefer not to look at the streaming vid if there is a download avail. Noticed the scope aspect. Did you crop or does A1 support it?

edit: Nvm I just needed to log in. Excellent choices for the photography. Human subjects, sky, text, leaves, its a great variety for showcasing the adapter. I noticed the last shot was rather circular in its rendering of the lights. Have you noticed that consistently with the adapter or is it perhaps the lens? Thanks for sharing, always interesting watching your work.

If you follow the link I posted, right below the large thumbnail is a link "download original".

The aspect was created as a result of matting in Premiere and chopping in Sorenson Squeeze
