Hey there, got a dvx100be second hand but didn't get a manual. Been searching around for advices and guides on the net. The stuff i've read are for the 100a or 100b ntsc cameras but they are telling me there should be a display on the preview screen that has the f-stops mine doesn't. Is this becouse it's the 100be or do i have to press something?
As you can tell I'm new but I am having a lot of fun

On the side there is a button that says Iris, and a wheel beside it. You press the Iris button to set the camera to manual Aperture and then set the f-stop with the wheel.

I have a 100a but I've used the 100b and I'm pretty sure they did not remove the feature. Go in to the Menu, Display Setup, scroll down to "Other Display" and set it to "PARTIAL" or "ALL"

Note all the other setting displays that can be turned off or on according to you desire.

I've had my DVX for years now and I'm finally going to buy Barry Green's book. I only recently found out that the DVX has a "spot meter."
