If you grabbed 2 of the guys in this thread and put them in a room with an HDTV, this is what you would get.

Go spend $100,000 on a Sony F23.
Huy, add a little bit more to that figure. It's about 180 for the body alone. Then add on the SRW-1 recorder, power, digiprimes, and you will be up and running for near 500,000 for a full kit including primes and zooms.

Haha, the only complaint I have with the F23 is the 2/3 sensor and the weight. But the F35 did away with the 2/3 deal. Basically the F23 offers the dynamic range, the F35 is the 35mm DOF.
I've been talking about this camera for a while now. Considering shooting with a 35 when in comes out. And I have an F23 camera demo coming up.![]()
But those cameras certainly are not HVXs. Haha. To be honest, I was blown away when I got a quote for the F23. Should have expected it though.
I prefer videologizing or videographying.![]()
I come from a 35mm production background. I'd appreciate it if you people who are expert with digital cameras can tell me the perceived difference between the images of a, say, Sony Z1 HDV and a Sony F900 HD on a big theatrical screen.
