THE MANUSCRIPT - production diary

Thanks.

We are shooting in Spain. I have to fly to Santo Domingo next Tuesday so i´m doing a rough cut to see if i´m missing angles and things like that.

So i edited a home made version with pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack.

Dear Diary:

Today we shoot "Carmen" talking to "Santi" and "Isabel" about something that she got from her granny. A piece of paper that will become crucial in the story.

We have an amazing 71 year old actress that has worked with fine people...

Well, so today we shoot all the conversation of "Isabel" and "Carmen", so tomorow we will be shotting "Santi"s acting.

Wensday : we have a horse pursuit, still trying to figure out how to do it the best way!....

We wrapped filming in Spain and were now in Santo Domingo. Oh my beautiful country, at last!!!

Well... we are in preproduction here and redoing the teaser and the webpage, so for now is down.

Here is a still from the desert sequence.

wow... this looks very good. Awesome 3d shot and the prior shot with the snake is amazing as well. That storyboard to screen post is cool.. anything adventure/action has my attention!

People ask me "why i didnt 'resolve' the movie in a room" if i didnt have budget.
I tell them, "hey, what's creative about that?"
So, making my script was different. I did'nt make a script and then find all the stuff i need it. Nop. I made a list of things i could get: a Harley Davidson group, a diving equipment, some boats, some racing cars, some chicks, blah blah blah...
And then I just fit the story I wanted in between. That's my theory of the NO BUDGET film!...
