HD100 with a custom spinner. GG is frosted plastic cut into circle.
Achromat is from the SGpro.

All scenes used the adapter EXCEPT the opening aerial footage where i decided to use the stock 16x fujinon considering the very tight space in the backseat of a four seater aircraft which i had to share with my brother shooting stills.

35mm lens used are the ff.

50mm f1.4 nikon
80-200 f2.8 nikon
20-40 f2.8 sigma
15-30 f3.5-4.5 sigma

curved moves used my DIY plywood skater.
dolly shots used my DIY pvc track dolly.

overcranked scenes were at 480p uprezzed to 720p.

ditto. great shots man, but this isn't vegas, maybe something a little slower would have been more appropriate, in my opinion. It looks like somewhere i would go to avoid stress, not encourage a heart attack lol. Everything there looks very beautiful, but we don't get any time to take it in.

regardless still very well done, just a little dizzy.

Well I'd have to agree 50% of what Papa suggested, but I would have also added in slower romantic scenes (dinning, relaxing, etc..) just for the people that want that too. Then again some resorts don't want that, they want the fun thing.

Thanks for sharing, enjoyed it. Now you've got me wanting drinks by the beach. :O Anyway fantastic job, great track & shots.

Can only echo what others have said:
Very, very nice footage - but the editing is seizure-inducing and the typography cheap. The base work is beautifully done, but the "packaging" needs a bit of work imo.

thanks for the constructive words everyone.

This is actually the short version. which is a "bonus" cut i gave to the client. the 3 minute original cut had a bit more savoring time, (5-15 more frames at cuts) and had a slow portion in the tempo.

I'll try to load that complete version.

i'm new to this dvxuser forum stuff.... i saw you posted your video for people to check it out and make comments on it. i was wondering how to post my video to get some feedback. this was my first project and was wanting to see what i did wrong. how to you even post a thread on this?
anyways, the video is: http://vimeo.com/5700809 so maybe you could check it out and tell me what you think.... sorry to crash your thread.

Thats ok. You already posted your link in four different threads.

I think your video is very nice. I have some constructive comments.

Why not try to play with a different font on the supers. Its like Arial, while I like arial, you can try a font that supports the story.

I like the message too. But at the end I'm curious more about the greater europe mission group weather its out to build bridges of friendship across different culture/religion OR is it out to convert.

I think it should be clear as I don't wish it to appear like its converting but rather promoting understanding and building friendship.

Lastly, you have a nice material, and I saw you used a 5D, so why don't you post this at the HDSLR screening room,
http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/forumdisplay.php?f=191
or at the 5D thread.
click on the START NEW TOPIC BUTTON, then use a catchy thread Title.

Then you can embed your video from vimeo by clicking on the [v] icon in dialog where you compose a message.

insert your vimeo video file number, like the one in your video, which is 5700809

between the 2 "vimeo" words in brackets.

Keep up the good work.
