Want to rent generator in Irvine area

I've got a night shoot around Irvine, CA coming up at the end of July (the 26th or 27th) and I need a generator. Nothing crazy, a 2000w should easily do it. If you have a generator that you rent out then please PM me and give me a day quote. If you can point me to a place where I can rent one for a reasonable price that would be great too. Thanks!
 
How are you going to run an HMI of a non crystal synced genny??? I don't even know if Huy is running HMIs, but for cine use, you only use cine generators.
 
wooden nickel rents honda gennys. these are not specifically for cine use. home depot rents the same stuff but cheaper. i have run mag ballast hmi's off these as well... but if you really wanna pay more and drive 90 minutes each way....

a REAL cine quiet genny is big bucks to rent. people use general use gennys all the time.

The level of noise isn't really a problem in this case, it's a music video. I'm just concerned about the MF150 lights and whether it'll work.
 
I think there's one in Burbank. I tried to search it online but their rental is just a small time and won't even appear online. I think they have availability for 2400v and 6000w. Better check online again. :)

Why can't you run a HMI of a generator?

Does it cause the light to flixer ( even if it's a newer ballast ? )

I've been running 1.2K (and smaller) HMIs with electronic ballasts off stock Honda EU2000i gennys for many years without issue.
