A bit of bad news for early adopters of P2

Hi,

So the title of this thread about a bit of Bad News for Early Adopters Should be really Panasonic stands behind their equipment even for early adopters.
That worked out exactly the way I thought it would.

Thanks,

Jan

You could start a new one like that, but at the time it could have been called $600 down the drain.

Don't forget that I had send it in and I was told that Panasonic doesn't fix P2 and that I was out of warranty.

I am glad that you and other executives at Panasonic monitor these threads.

The good thing is that I feel more comfortable buying the 170 as soon as it is out.

Any one wants to buy a Sony FX1 and a Canon A1?

Got my New P2 card back from Panasonic

Got my New P2 card back from Panasonic

SO did Panasonic Replace the card for you or Not? Does the new card works with the camera?

I am sorry I didn't report on my new card. I just came back from my summer vacation.

As Jan said, I did receive my new card. I sent my old one back and in less than a week I received my new one. It works just as good as the original.

I really wanted to thank Panasonic and specially Alex ******* for replacing my card. They really didn't have to do it 'cause it was out of warranty, but they really support their products.

I am sure that Jan had something to do with it too, so thank you Jan.

Well, then I am glad that there is more than one person monitoring the customers' needs. It made a hugh difference with me.

Service is the one thing that is hard to come by this day. I am reaaally glad that PANASONIC listen to their customers.

I am still undesided on my next upgrade. The only thing I know is that it will have the PANASONIC logo on it. It would either be the 500 or the 170, we'll see.

Thanks again.
