Sachtler FSB 6 good enough for HVX200?

I intend to put a Sachtler head on the Manfrotto 525 tripod for use with HVX200 and accessories.

Is the Sachtler FSB 6 head, constructed for cameras with 6kg max weight, good enough for the HVX200? I might use a Cavision rod system maybe Letus extreme with it.

Or must I get the more expensive DV 6 SB head which can hold max. 9kg?

Is there any other reason to prefer the DV 6 SB over the FSB6?

FSB 6 is good but doesn't hold enough weight to have an HVX AND a 35mm adapter package, etc. If you are just going to have an HVX and will never buy a 35mm adapter, fine. If you will ever go for an adapter, you need the DV-6SB or DV-8SB.

how much does a HVX with battery really weight?
It says in the manual 2.5 kg without battery, how much is it with battery?
How much with 35mm adapter and lens?

Good to hear. I expect to upgrade to the DV6SB from my Focus sometime this summer.
Hopefully, the backlash problem Daktulus mentioned in an earlier thread is only a fluke.

My HVX/Letus Extreme with FF, batteries, P2 cards, matte box, filters and extra pickles weighs close to 18lbs, a few ounces under. It's a pretty heavy little rig. The DV-6SB handles it great, no backlash issues at all. I was going to mount a monitor but since I will be selling the HVX for an HPX-170, I am optimistic that with the improvements in the lcd screen and the new focus tools, I can avoid having to have a camera mounted monitor for outdoor shoots. I use a Sony HD monitor for interiors but it's AC powered so I have been looking at a small 8" for the HVX.
