The Watchman a Michael Anthony Horrigan Film

I'm certain that whatever Herman puts together will completely rock. The guy is supernatural in his ability to score in a short amount of time.

It's not looking good at all.

It seems like CS3 has decided to start crashing on me every 3 minutes. Especially while rendering any changes to my footage. I'm running over 7 minutes on the cut and these problems are not allowing me to edit in a timely manner.

It looks like a reinstall of Premiere Pro is in order.

Chances are that this won't be finished in time.

Mine is doing similar things. It will not synch the audio, I have had to move to another system. Can you call up a friend with a kickin system and use that?

I made some changes and the project is now rendering. I'll see if it's stable when it finishes. After that it will be a manner of editing it down and seeing if I can locate a few lines of audio that seem to have vanished.

If I do get this done it will probably be without Herman's score. I really can't see myself finishing this until Sunday or so. I don't think he'll have enough time to score it.

We'll see where I'm at by tomorrow morning.

Well, I think I'm out.
My lead actor couldn't show up today to do a much needed voice over for the end of the movie. That and Father's Day really ate up any extra time I had.

It just wasn't destined to happen. I should be finished in a couple of days though. I'll enter it as a non compete and look forward to the feedback.

Duuuuuude!!!!!!! Do the VO yourself!!!!! Get your dad to do it. Anything!!!!
I would but I need his voice. You'll understand when you hear it. That and the system constantly crashing has really put me behind the eight ball on this one. I guarantee that it will be finished in a few days, just not before the deadline tomorrow morning.

Such is life. I'm really just grateful that this Fest helped me produce what I feel might be my best work yet.

If you're really just a VO away from a complete film, I really think you should try to hit the deadline. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

There's also no score yet. And no sound design (?)
You're right about the score, most of the sound design is done. Although I'm sure you can do a much better job of it.

My lead is dropping by in the morning and I'm editing like crazy tonight.
This "may" get finished in time.

No promises though.

Either way, there will be a much longer Director's Cut to follow. Along with Herman's score of course! :)
