So, when I have clips in the contents folder from P2CMS that I no longer want, how do I get rid of them?

I put them in the trash, but when I goto "empty trash" it says they're locked and I cannot delete them.

If your cards are locked you have to unlock them first and if there being referenced you will need to shut down the program that is doing the referencing first.

Good Luck

I always just delete them using P2CMS before moving the rest of the folders into the trash bin. P2CMS doesn't seem to care if they're locked or not, and it's reasonably fast.

doug, move them to the trash, then hold down option while you empty trash. i'm not sure if it does that on 10.4, but i know it does on 10.5.

what works for me is if you move your cursor over the trashcan in the dock and "manually" empty trash, you dont have to unlock the .MXF files.

It might be because it's "locked". Your gonna have to "unlock" it first. To do that just highlight the mxf and go to "file" and "get info". And under the tab "General", just click on the box next to "lock". Once it's "unlocked" you can trash it like an empty bag of chips.
