Here I am, making movie for dvxuser's fest again  I love all the thrill and fun of the last LoveFest so I've decided not to miss this one. It will be my second movie ever and hopefully it's better than my first one :violin:

Does anyone know why my poster doesn't show up sometimes?

Mark Harris has a switch that he can use to turn people's posters on and off. If you send him fifty bucks he'll leave you alone. Yeah, it's extortion, but we put up with Harris because he needs the cash badly.

No problem. Let me put on my mask and run to the closest bank. I'm sure I can get more than fifty bucks for him

Good to see you Don!
I see you got a brand new cast, sweet. Have you started shooting yet?
Where are some of your primary locations?

Hey! Welcome to the fest.

I wish I had a Brevis to go with my HV20. :(
Lucky guy.

Nice poster!

Cheers,

Mike

The footage from of the HV20/Brevis combo is nice but I had some hard time with it because I didn't have an external monitor. It was really hard watching everything upside down with the HV20's LCD. I couldn't really shoot anything moving because I would turn the camera in the opposite direction :lipsrseal

How is your movie going along? I'm done with the shooting. I'm just editing now. I shot mainly at UH. I wanted to use a new cast because I'd like to experiment with new actors/actress :)

yah, no external monitor here either. I have to get one of those sometime. I think I'll try and get a better camera first. :)
Or lighting gear... or sound equipment... or...

Yeah I just bought a Sony portable DVD player right after I finished shooting the movie. It has a 800x480 resolution screen. Hopefully I can make use of it for the next fest ;-)

Hey Don,
I'm glad to see you got a follow focus now! Man! Your camera is a killer now.
Do you have any new footage up in your video/photography site?

Sorry I don't have any new footage yet but you can watch my movie on Monday . The follow focus really helps with focusing but I wish I had someone to do the focus pulling. Now I understand why they hire a person just to do the focus pulling. I couldn't really control the camera and pulled the focus at the same time. It was a tough thing to do.
