What format, or formats does hvx200 record to p2 and firestore? DVCPRO HD only?

[Clint Nitkiewiz Hernandez]

Im wondering if the p2 or firestore records different formats at different settings.

So if I record to the firestore with 1080p.a, then it will record using DVCPRO HD format?

And what if I record to the p2 cards? Will it record using a different format?

I thought uncompressed 8bit was an option as a codec?

Clint, we meet again!

Do you have a manual for this camera?
How about Barry's book?

On the P2 cards, you can record all the formats: DVCPROHD, DVCPRO 50, DV.

DVCPRO HD is the only codec option for recording 1080 or 720.
Uncompressed is not an option.

Enjoy your camera,
Les
