Could anyone help me with color correction for a 3 minute clip...ame as the blue at beginning of this video :)

It's not fully produced as I have only just started on this adventure...
I am doing all tasks except for the acting...Actually towards the end I tried acting but Heck! I cannot act and I have alot of respect for my models that do...I am working my way to finding more actors...
This guy you see in the blue shirt was a passer by that I got in in...some was acting off the cuff from rough ideas that I had.
Here is a rough copy...i.e. Unfinished video to be put in between...sound to be re-dubbed and also new audio such as when she's on phone :)
My first time with the DVX100b with help from those scenefiles thread :)

That looks pretty good actually; the second half better than the first. I think the latter half moves a bit quicker and you should definitely color correct the first part, even if you want to keep it cold and blue. Personally, I like the warm better.

The abrupt cuts in the first half could work very well if done right. Gives some real motion to the piece. Looking forward to the next cut.

Thanks JM...Didnt expect that good a response :)...Yes I will keep it as a warm color now...I'm not sure about the punch either but I coul cut it more...or find the employee again as he works next to that stadium...he didnt mind a little punch :)... And as for color correcting...I'm not sure how and I wander do you mean to make it less blue? :)

Yeah; I mean I think you're going for a cold look with the wind, which works, but if you lift the reds and greens I'm sure that'd give the picture a little more health. I don't know what you're using for color correction but with any thing basic in FCP or something equivalent, it can work miracles.

Thanks...I only have Sony Vegas demo and can't really afford any package yet :)...just spending the money on models and a few actors for thursdays shoot when I get the special agent part filmed in london which is about 180 miles south :)...I think I will leave color correction at the moment...I am going to try to get a trailer out there to at least get pre-orders and then I can continue with more advanced filming and get a few programs :)

Re-edited to ask if anyone could help me in color correcting another scene...its the guy running after crystal which i shot today but forgot to turn the exposure to blue as I was doing other scenes...
Is there any free good quality software or trials :)
