Hmm... I haven't seen this up on the torrent sites yet. Is the DVD not shipping yet? :tongue:
 
Hey everyone! Sorry for the delayed responses ... I posted that last post just hours before heading out with my wife on a long planned vacation. Just got back day before yesterday, have spent the last two days with the entire family (missed the kids terribly), and am now flying out to Dallas in the AM for training this week.

To boil it down & deglorify it, I'll be a copy salesman. :) I've accepted a position as a National Corporate Account Exec, with most of my companies being on the West Coast ... so yeah, Mark, it may be brining me to LA, which would have some cool perks to say the least.

The DVD is authored for Region 1 only, I believe. All I know is I sent them a master on DVD-R, and they'll be replicating out DVD5's.

Just paid the subscription fee, so now I can officially start to really promote the sale of the DVD ... just have to update banners, etc. which I'll have to do when I get back.

Oh, for Brandon, Justin, Ian, and everyone else tha'ts already put in an order, a HUGE THANK YOU!! I've sent you individual emails just a bit ago letting you know the week delay, due to the printing of the actual discs (silkscreen vs. 4 color offset press), but will have them out to you ASAP as soon as they're in hand. That said, I can't wait for you guys to get these, as I think you'll be impressed. Jeremy did an AMAZING job with the artwork/design, and I'll go ahead and toot my own horn to say I think you'll like the splash page, and entire DVD content ... tried to really pack it out on this one.

Oh, and hopefully you dig the film as well. :)

Shawn, yes, the wrap party is forthcoming. I'll be working out some kind of screening with Chuck, the Exec Producer who also owns some screens in the area. Just want to wait to have the DVD's in hand before scheduling anything definite ... also want to give cast & crew plenty of lead time to schedule for it.

"Berlin" Screens on Carnival Cruise Lines!

I'll get a few pics of it posted up soon, but I wanted to share I can offically say that "Berlin" has screened in international waters on the Carnival Cruise Lines ... most specifically on one of their newest flag ships, the Carnival Liberty. They screened it on the last night of the cruise, on their big outdoor jumbotron ... sound was pretty bad on those massive stereo speakers, but it was cool, nonetheless, to see it up on that huge screen. :)

Just got into town & catching up on email. Rec'd notification that "Berlin" will be screening at the 2008 AOF. With my new job, if I've got a client in the area I can try & work the fest into the trip for a day, hopefully. Would look forward to meeting some of you folks there, if you're attending that fest. :)

Congratulations Norm! Will the AOF fest be in Long Beach again? We'll show up to see your film!
 
Thanks, Brandon & Robert. As far as I know, AOF hasn't changed locations ... this is my first experience with this fest.

DIRECTORDEVIN, the film is available for purchase at www.berlin-themovie.com ... I still need to further update this thread with purchase options, as well as my banner, etc. The actual DVD's are supposed to be arriving this week, which as soon as I have them in hand I'll be shipping out immediately.
