Will RR MicroX flip work with other adapters EG: Brevis

Thanks for the PIC.
I think it looks pretty cool.
As mentioned by dlang some footage would be sweet.

Maybe buying the brevis and using all my RR stuff is an option.
If it is I am stoked.

Don't forget the other option though - Using a Brevis flip with RR -
I think that's already been tested though I'm not sure.

I'm still waiting on the step up ring.

I'm 99% sure that the microX will work wth the brevis so long as the cinefuse elemet is further away that the cinescreen wouldve been on an M2.

as far as using RR with cinevate, I'm a HUGE fan.

RR makes ridiculous accessories, but their adapter has really faller behind. On the other hand, Dennis has a pretty limited number of accessories (that's growing), but the man makes a mean adapter.

got the step up ring today, but there's a thread compatibility issue.

I now need a 55mm ring, with female threads on both ends.

Anyone know where I can get one? it's pretty urgent.

Lenny, our flip does work quite nicely with the M2. I've got a DVD on my desk of a music video (can't release the footage yet) shot by a fellow named Ryan shot using the combination...and it looks great. Of course I'd rather he used our adapter too, but I'm content know that our flip has been tested (and works) with most systems out there. One thing that I'd be worried about is the clear aperture area of the redrock flip. The Cinevate flip is designed with a much larger flip and 72mm flip achromat for a good reason...to maintain excellent edge to edge sharpness regardless of the XY adjustment required on cameras like the HVX200. I'd like to see a chart or two with the microx on the Brevis testing edge to edge, contrast and chromatic aberration.....

We tested with 58mm flip optics...and tossed em. They worked, but not nearly as well as our 72mm versions on cameras like the HVX200. One thing is for certain, our upcoming B4 2/3" relay will definitely not work with any other flip due to the aforementioned issues.

That said, any accessories (like RRM's) designed for 15mm rails, on 60mm centers will of course work just fine with our adapter and Proteus rails system :-)

Hate to bring back old news, but does anyone have a definitive answer for this question? I'm curious about a Microx+Brevis MP1 setup. Thanks!
