so i guess its a no on the car pick up for me huh...maybe if i squint my eyes really tight...and click my heels together I can magically appear there...
 
I hear you Dustin - If I had a really fast car and no plans this weekend I'd swing by and come get you. Alas I'll be driving my minivan to Arkansas for the weekend to hang out at a cemetary. Good times :)
 
Yeah I got tired of the old login... Its my normal login that I can actually remember but felt having a real name would just be nice. Maybe one of these days I'll get an avatar thats actually me even... I do kinda look like that sometimes though!

Shoot if next fest there's another fat monster production I'll be signing up and flying out. Cant have enough random PA's right? I'm really awesome at carrying things :)
 
I must say.... Kyle Stebbins has really impressed me on this shoot. He's been a real joy to meet and I really mean it when I say the kid is going places. -- He'll be invited to each and every one of my sets from this point forward.
 
Yeah...I gots the ol firebird outside...but with only 3/4 of a tank of gas...I might make it 200 miles outta Waco...umm that puts me (looks at map) close to Lubbock I think...then I got another 300 (50 in the bank...damn payday is in a week)....so 300 Miles West of Lubbock is....Albuquerque, New Mexico...someone pick me up there lol

But yeah this summer...I'm good at carrying things too. There ain't nothing Jeff and Dustin can't carry!! Except I can't carry myself...kinda impossible, unless I were to cut myself in half and carry my bottom half...(which I just might do for a plane tix out there this weekend!!!)

But fo sho the next one...if they do it...oh crap now i'm worrying

I reciprocate the sentiment, Jack. You're a real inspiration to all of us here and I've been learning a lot already and the shoot hasn't even yet begun!

So I didn't know that Fat Monster will feed and board people who come down to help. That's awesome! But what do you all do? Most DVXUsers are Directors or DPs. What do you do with 20 Director/DPs? That sounds like a helluva party but one messy film set :-)

We all fill in where we fit. I've designed name badges, rigged lights, shot some stuff with Barry on my HVX, got to talk with Levie Isaacks, screwed with JDS, helped carry things... blah blah blah blah..... it's just a big family out here and we all do what needs to be done.

It's pretty rockin.
