I might be interested in buying an older JVC, Panasonic or Sony 1/2" or 2/3" chip Full sized-Shoulder mount Tape based Camcorder.

I am talking old school. You know the one-it's been in the bottom of your equipment closet, hasn't worked in 2-3 years because of the lovely dvx100/hvx200 camera, yet u remember the glory days and even occasionally think about charging up the batteries and using it to shoot some SD.

As for tape formats, I'm not sure I'd go as far back as Betacam but would be interested in DVC PRO 25 or 50 or DVCAM or JVC PRO DV.

4x3 is fine. SD for sure. And, of course, tape.

Some models?

JVC DV500/550/5000/5100/700
Panasonic AJ-D200/D400/SDX900
Sony DSR500/DSR370

But if you have another model not listed and are looking to unload an oldie but goodie please send me a private message.

Thanks in advance

Be well

Rob

I could swear I saw a couple of these on the NYC craigslist video section awhile back if you haven't already checked.

Good luck, I love those old cameras!

I know someone in New York who might sell Ikegami 2/3" DV7W, which has pretty advanced menu and professional ajustments.

PM me if you're interested

I have a Panasonic AJ-PD9o0, shoots 4:3 or 16:9 DVCPro25 or 50, interlaced or progressive. Immaculate condition, still using it on all of our shoots. Just ordered two new Hytron 50 batteries for it too. Nice glass on the front too.

I'd let it go for the right price.

PM me if you're interested.

Michael.

bayne-

i might be mistaken but none of the camera u have for sale can shoot native 16x9.

if u do have an older 2/3" which shoots native 16x9 to sd tape and has low hours on the record heads, then please keep me in mind.

thanks for your continued interest.

be well
