We’re selling our trusty and beloved Marshall 7 inch monitor. This LCD is in perfect working condition anf for the most part looks good esthetically. It does have a very minute scratch on the protective plexiglass not on the LCD and is not visible while operating nor does it affect the image at all.. It has a Panasonic battery mount and we have added plates to all the sides so you can mount it any way you want. It comes with a Panasonic battery (3-4 hours) and 3 BNC to RCA connectors. We’re selling it because we have two RED cameras and have no need for it anymore (it was mainly used for the HVX-200)

It retails for $1500

Hi
I`m a steadicam Operator and had a couple of questions:
Are you able to do critical focus in HD on this monitor?
My jobs have me flying HVX200, Sony EX1, JVC HDV)
And will I be able to get an HD signal to the monitor from the camera using the component inputs?
I`m planning to mount this on my Steadi and need an HD monitor that my focus puller can look at while we run around.
Btw how is it in daylight and viewed from other than straight on?
Oh; and why don`y you use this for your RED?
Thanks!

Hi,

We have used the HVX 200 and the JVC HDV with it and have always been able to have critical focus. Actually the real reason for getting this monitor was for critical focus using a 35mm adaptor on our HVX. Never had a focus issue with it. For bright sunny outdoor shoots, you will most likely need a small hood. It does fine in overcast days. And yes it takes HD component in 720P and 1080i. (it supports all the modes of the HVX as well as the JVC)
There is a simple reason why we can't use it with the RED.....RED only has HD-SDI and HDMI output...:-( No HD Component on the RED.... a real bummer.....

(I emailed you this reply to your email as well)

Sold to me!! Thanks Maz have fun with your two RED cams (some guys are so lucky)
