Hello guys,
I'm selling all of my camera equipment! My goal is to find interested customers who want my items by this coming Sunday. I bought the DVX100B from Amazon in January of 2007. It is in phenomenal condition, spending the last few months in safe storage. I used it to film three brief interviews. It has a total shooting time of only 19 hours, most of which was me learning to use it.
(SOLD) Camera package includes:
3 CCD DVX100B camera in great condition
Remote control and shoulder strap
Set of 5 premium Sony tapes that I never opened or used...
All equipment manuals/materials
Barry Green's essential DVX Book
1 battery (the battery which came with it) and charger/wall charger.
The DVX DVD
Magic Bullet editors (software that came with the product when I bought it. Looks great, but I never got around to playing with it.)
Belkin 4-Pin to 4-Pin FireWire Cable (connects the DVX100B to a firewire port)
In sum, you get everything that came with the DVX100B camera + accessories I bought afterwards.
It will all ship padded in the original boxes and another layer (I never bought a camera case).
$1700 + shipping for all of the above items together
I also am selling (either separately, or preferably, as a complete package):
(SOLD) 1) A Bogen/ Manfrotto 190XDB Tripod with 501 HDV head including
a black Bogen bag to carry the tripod in. for $205 total + shipping
(SOLD) 2) Great rode NTG-2 directional condenser microphone kit: Rode NTG-2 condenser microphone in wonderful shape, shock mount and zip pouch (for mic), Rycote softie (see pics), K-Tek KE89CC boompole with coiled cable in good shape; two XLR cords to connect mic to devices, one is 1.5' the other is 20', handgrip, and the original Rode mic cover (for backup purposes!). Note, there is no carrying case for the boompole. I stored mine away safely in a closet, because I rarely used it. However, I bought a bag for the tripod (see above), which could be used as a substitute. This kit was formerly sold on BHPhotoandVideo, but I think the lineup of items has changed in that specific kit since I bought it. The microphone's sound output is just amazing. I had looked at many threads on this site before settling on it. It was great for the few interviews I conducted... crisp and clean and sharp sound. - for $455 total + shipping
(SOLD) 3) Also I have a Manfrotto fig-rig with the plate--very useful and efficient for steadicam work. I really liked it the few times I used it. It creates very smooth movement and is easy to operate. It was probably my favorite gadget. A lot of users on this board seem to find it really useful for their shoots. for $205 total + shipping. A minor note: the DVX100B's flip out LCD screen has a slight shimmer when turned OFF. This will in absolutely no way shape or form affect your viewing, filming, recording, or playback, it's just has a minor shimmer when the camera is turned OFF, nonexistent when ON. You will NOT see anything but a perfect picture when you turn it on and film. The screen only has this minor shimmer when turned OFF, after it was most recently cleaned. (Please see pics on my blog below).
This whole package (DVX100B, tripod, mic package, fig rig, etc), I am selling for $2500 + shipping, which I think is very fair. I am open to negotiating, if you're reasonable. For the sake of ease, I hope to sell everything all at once, but if that doesn't work best for you, that's fine! For instance, if you just want the camera package (and not the tripod, mic kit or fig rig), we can arrange that. Please feel free to contact me to discuss this.
Please email me at jerel@umich.edu or PM me. I can provide more details, discuss shipping options and/or exchange phone numbers.
I have a lot of pics of my equipment, so I set them up on a blog. http://fourmorefourmore.blogspot.com/. Please email me for more specific shots if desired.
I live in the metro Detroit area near Ann Arbor. If you live in that region, we can meet. For security, I prefer to deal with forum members only. Paypal only please (or cash, if in person).
I hope everything is cleared up. Please feel free to email me if you have questions or need clarification. I posted a lot of info here so I want to make sure I made sense!
(All items here are now sold! Thank you for your interest!)
