Those of you who are curious about the EX1's performance with fast-moving shots, I think this would help shine some light.

Camera settings:

Most clips were shot in 1080p, at 1/48 shutter speed. The slow-motion shots were 720p at 1/125 shutter.

Picture Profile:

Matrix: Level +75
Black: -25
Black Gamma: -99

The images look great! the colors pop really nice.

Thank you! The color looks much nicer in full-quality -- the Ex1 really does a great job enhancing everything.

What soundtrack is the music from? Liked it!

Thanks!

The soundtrack from the first preview is: The Plaza of Execution (Zorro), by James Horner. The second preview is from the movie Gladiator: Am I Not Merciful? By Hans Zimmer.

Short Film???

Looks more like a doc/street racing vid to me.

Street racing videos are from people sticking their camera out of their cars with the wind blowing into it, shooting random car footage with insignificant visual values. These are previews of a short film.

Scottie,

Unfortunately no. Those pix were taken with a Canon 30D. I'm sure if I spend enough time adjusting the video settings/lighting, etc., it could come close though...the sharpness is there.

Here are a few screen caps straight out of the camera, shot using 720P

Are you checking out Top Gear footage? They seem to be writing the manual on high performance car shoots. I'd love to pick holes in it and generally go 'harrumph' and 'bleah', but it's all actually really good and the formula isn't hard to unpick.
