Like I said, please don't take it the wrong way. I have just been burned before like that... Its nothing against you personally. Its like selling/buying on ebay with someone that has no feedback or history...Its a little nerve racking. Hope you understand and thanks for taking the time to look...

if a buyer is sending you funds either through paypal, cashiers check, personal check or cash then i am curious as to how the seller is taking any risk. if the personal check is no good then you will not ship the camera. if the cashiers check is a phony, which is easily verifiable through your bank, then you will not ship the camera. if the cash is counterfeit, which your bank can attest to, then you will not ship the camera. and finally, if the paypal transaction is a scam then you will not receive monies through your paypal account and once more you will not be shipping any camera. so, please explain your risk in selling to a 'one time poster'. seems to me you should be wary of a 'one time poster' trying to sell something whereby you send said scam artist funds and never receive any goods in return.

Who wants to go through the hassle of dealing with a phony payment? I understand the OP's perspective 100% and agree with it. If the seller can avoid it, why shouldn't they? Also, by selling it on DVXuser, they're giving members a chance at a better deal - giving back to the community.

I see no problem whatsoever in choosing buyers, based on what they think is questioned legitimacy.

Are those Firestores the ones that can record directly to .mov files in 24f? They're a bit more pricey here in Canada and I've been debating one for my A1...maybe even a second camera.

Just curious for now (and a constructive bump),

Kegan

I know paypal is a pretty secure source and cashier check is almost like as good as cash. The way I look at it is this is a way for me to filter some of the problems out, I know I might lose a potential buyer but thats a risk I am willing to take. Sorry it offends anyone but thats just the way I feel comfortable. Just like on ebay you look for people with good feedback or some kind of history. Thanks for looking.. Oyes and you guys are right I am just going to post the pictures here, makes it much easier.

The firestores that I have do record to .mov. As far as the 24f I am not sure of. I have tried to record to 24f and as other people on this forum have stated you can do and the drive will not record. The company says it should but since I really do not use 24f I have not pursued it. I m sure there is some kind of update that it needs in order for it to work.

Thanks for looking and thanks for understanding my point.

Sorry guys I have not put pictures because I might have it sold. If it does not work out I will post pics...

believe or not the sale fell through as the persons payment never confirmed. I will be posting pictures by the end of the day...
