I am looking to purchase a tripod system for my EX1 that will offer me a "true" fluid head experience. I don't care about the cosmetics or age of the head as much as I care about how functional it will be with my new camera.
In terms of legs, my only requirement is that they be steady. I don't need carbon fiber, or anything extremely light, just something functional that will not detract from the image.
I am not looking for "fluid type" heads, nor am I looking to spend any more than 650 US dollars. If you want you can either make me an offer through this forum, or via email (alexgutterson@gmail.com).
For preliminary offers I will not need pictures, however before I purchase said tripod, pictures of the product in question will be necessary.
If the price of the tripod winds up being slightly over 650 dollars, I will still consider it, however I am sure I will hear from numerous of you, therefore unless it is an offer over 650 dollars that bolls me over in terms of "what a good deal that was", I don't anticipate spending more than my aforementioned limit.
