This great camera is in perfect near-mint condition. I am the original owner and it only has 52 hours on the meter! Originally purchased from Express Video Supply (EVS) for personal and short film purposes. Always kept safely in the padded pelican case in a low humidity home and handled very gingerly when in use. This camera was my baby and received only the best care.

Bogen/Manfrotto tripod kit for sale. 525MVB legs with a 503 fluid head. Awesome for either the DVX, HVX or similar cameras. Included are TWO head handles and the Bogen/Manfrotto #531SPRB Mid-Level Spreader. This kit has seen very little use and is in perfect condition.

I wish I had something like that when I was in elementary school.
Sorry. I'd probably look for a different model of camera that may better suit your budget. Also to save money it might be good to have a soft case. A fancy waterproof molded pelican case is overkill for such applications. I might lean more towards a used Canon XL1 or even less expensive GL2. You could get a more well-rounded package for that budget (including tripod, maybe backdrops, hair light or other light, etc).
