iFocus availability?

PM sent. Is the iFocus still available and what's the price?

Hi, Have you sold you DVX yet, I have been looking for a DVX for a while and havent found the right price. Please email me at Blr36@aol.com with more info and pictures, lets talk about some prices, what are you thinking?

I fyou don't mind me asking what type of lens is this because I have the same bower attachment I am just looking for lenses to put on it any suggestions

there isnt a lens there. thats the iFocus. the bower attachment is a stepping ring from the dvx threads which are 72mm down to the 55mm threads for the iFocus.

Anthropophagous,
I received my ifocus yesterday... thank you for making this such an easy transaction. It was in pristine condition just as you had stated.
good luck with the rest of your sales.
steve

it was great dealing with you steve, thanks

lhmaloney: i dont know about the gopro, but the redrock is an oscilating adapter and the letus is a vibrating adapter. you can look up more info on them on this very board, but all of these operate in different ways. every system has its pros and cons. the static adapter (like the iFocus) is much more portable than the other two types of adapter, and is sharp. you dont REALLY need a rail system with it because of this (at least on the dvx), whereas it is essential with bigger adapters like the letus and redrock. it also doesnt require any batteries like the other two do. one thing about those other 2 is that since the GG is constantly moving, dust on the GG is not visible while in movement, whereas in static adapters it is. but because the ifocus is not a closed system you can easily remove any dust on the focusing screen with a rocket blower. i would say the main con to a static adapter is when you stop down the aperture of the SLR lens too much, the grain on the focusing screen becomes apparent.

the letus has one thing that neither of those adapters has, though: a flip module. 35mm adapters flip the image (so you have to either get used to it while shooting or use a method to flip the image for you...i personally just put a mirror i got from a makeup kit at the dollar store, however this only flips the image vertically, it is still horizontally backwards) so you have to flip the image in post. the letus flips the image for you so you don't have to do any of that. but it is also very expensive.
good luck
