The Vx1k is English. I purchased it refurbished locally 3 1/2 months ago. Since then I have put about 8-10 tapes through it, it has never been played back on, and is showing no signs of wear. As far as I know it is internally mint, so no problems there. Physically it is also mint, just a few dirt splotches on the mic, fairly common. Oh and the XLR cover is missing. Not a big deal but thought it should be said.
The mk1 (screw) is PERFECT. I purchased it new from Amazon a little less then 2 months ago, and it is still flawless. I still have the original box if you would like me to ship the mk1 in it.
Finally, I have a Bescor 50/100, with Auto-Shut off charger. I have used this a total of 3 times since purchasing it used. It is in great condition, and I'm fairly certain I'm willing to split it.
The package includes lense hood (with a small crack in it), a generic battery (I have another lying around and hope to find it), a remote, battery charger, as well as one mic support.
LOOKING TO TRADE FOR A DVXB with low hours and accesories. While living in DC I have no time to film skateboarding (and no people to film), so I'm moving on the the more film oriented DVX so I can get used to the Panasonic settings before the HMC150.
NO TRADES EXCEPT A DVXB, AND NO SPLITS, THE EXCEPTION POSSIBLY BEING THE BESCOR.
I will take a cash offer for the package if its an amount of money I can't refuse.
