Best steadicam for HPX500?

[filmguy123]

Steadicam Pilot is the best with HVX200... but I think the HPX500 exceeds that weight limit once you have a lens, battery, and mic all attatched?

What are the best steadicam options for the HPX500?

[Kit Hannah]

Well, it all depends on how much money you want to spend. Steadicam would be the best, but the offerings from Glidecam are pretty nice too for a reasonable price.

What offerings and what prices are we talking?

[Hunter Hampton]

You can get a glidecam v-20 for around $4k.

This is the one that I use. Must admit I have only used my 610 on it. Haven't tried the 502 yet. It is not perfect but for the price gives a great result

i find the glidecam works well with my hpx500 i have a mattebox and a digital transmitter on it and lights as well, i used to own a merlin with my hvx200 then i moved to the steadicam flyer but i have to say that i prefer the glidecam v25
