3 new commercials from me and my brother

All three were great. I do have to say that the first one is my favorite. I think it looks more "Professional". It probably has a lot to do with the lenses you used. Did you shoot these in 1080 or 720?

we used canon lenses. mostly 28mm 2.8. the shot of the kid coming in is 50mm 1.4. They were all shot in 720.

First off, you know I'm a huge fan of your work.

RE: the 2nd two, all I can say is wow, just wow in regards to your creative scripts. I'm stuck here in stodgy old Connecticut where all anyone wants is five shots and and art card. (and believe me, you can't tell them otherwise)

I don't know if having a guy getting beat up is the best approach to moving autos in a sub-prime market....but who freakin' cares? The spot looked great! My only complaint was that the "getting beat up" sfx were low, but I guess thats cuz you used a long shot.
The travel tours spot was great as well. Nice clean graphics. I like the joke about the dead grandfather. Funeral jokes=comedy gold.

The first spot looked great, but was my least favorite. It was a nice excercise in style, but I like your funny stuff better.

Yeah, we like doing the funny stuff better too. Shooting empty rooms is pretty boring. But you're right, it was a good exercise. Mostly it was adapter practice. We're getting more and more comfortable with it each time we use it. And it makes the naked shoots feel like cream cheese. Its like warming up with a big bat.
i have to echo the strong graphics work. what programs did you use?
Thanks! Its just Vegas. :)

These were great. I'm guessing VC-1 is your choice of publishing to web, works well

#1. Great Clip, pulling out motion was mismatched with pulling in motion, I continually felt pulled out of the place.

#2. The background needed a strong omni, ended up looking like Michael Mann's HD in Miami vice and Collateral where Sodium Halide added that TV (vs Film) look to it.

#2. Needed more foley and fx on the beating master shot.

#3. Very Nice - except for the artcard /endtag n the end.
