New blowout pricing. MUST MOVE!

I have to say after looking up time to envy, my first thought was crookland, but then after reading their feedback on ebay, they even have 2 on reseller ratings, nothing there to go by, but nothing bad either. they seem for real, granted the claims made about the warranty seem to have been misleading, by mistake or ego, im not sure, but as someone who is happy to buy used gear and roll the dice they seem like an option, 3700 is a bit much for a "used hvx" though. a refurb or use b stock with some sort of warranty I can see spening 4 grand on it, but I think with this company they are playing the odds that its a good camera that will not need repair in the 4 years.

Just got word on a second store demo unit going up forsale. It's the same deal as the other one, but it's a bit better cosmetic condition. Full one-year warranty, 16GB P2 card, and HVX book. $4895 plus shipping.

Let me know if you're interested.

Tim2envy was the dealer that sold me my Hvx200 and It works fine and it looked like it was never used. Are you guys saying they say they are new but really aren't?

The only thing is I didn't get my 16gb p2 card.....

No. I'm saying what is in our FAQ. They aren't authorized by Panasonic to be a dealer for this product so they have to purchase outside of the usa. That's why you didn't get your free 16GB P2 card because they are packaged with the cameras along with the Barry Green book for usa distribution channels only. You also don't get a the manufactures 1-year warranty most of the time. That's why Time 2 Envy and other gray market dealers are selling a 3rd party warranty along with the cameras or guaranteeing them themselves. There have been a few units that have been able to register fine from various user reports that have bought gray market but I think that most of the time they are confusing a 3rd party registration with the real Panasonic one. As mentioned earlier, we are an Authorized Service Center for the HVX200 and we get some gray market cameras that come in even though they were "under warranty" and we can't do anything with those warranties, only service centers that are authorized for Panasonic toaster ovens and telephones are.

Gray Market isn't used, just not legit. Usually these cameras come from Singapore.

I'm glad that your camera worked fine for you though. :)

um, #1 - Jason Ramsey, i have one username - crobs808, what are you even talking about multiple usernames???

#2 - ive already called and dealt with panasonic usa, given them my serial number, registered it and everything. they said the typical warranty, for the type i got is 699, so i got a good deal at $450 for 4 years. They confirmed that the 14 day fix-it-or-replace-it, policy has only bene in effect since November 2007, but all hvx200's purchards after that date from 3rd party dealers were eligible for that kind of warranty. Since I had a legit USA model serial number, there is no problem.

I dont see why you guys are getting mad at me, that I got a good deal...plus, let's get back on topic, this was about the fake "blowout"...stop talking about me, lol.

I'm really surprised no one said anything about this...

i don't own a dvx nor an hvx so i can't say i know for sure but i would imagine Panasonic USA would not charge you an extra $450 dollars for a warranty. that is a third party warranty not one given by Panasonic USA.

pray you don't have problems with that camera because, i really don't think you are going to be getting a new one or getting it repaired by Panasonic.

Just found out that our two store demo units that are for sale come with a $400 end user rebate on top of the already great price!

HVX200 Store demo #1 $4895 - $400= $4495 (includes the free 16GB P2 Card, HVX Book and full 1-year warranty!)
HVX200 Store demo#2 $4495 - $400= $4095 (includes the free 16GB P2 Card, HVX Book and full 1-year warranty!)

I bought an HVX from T2E back last April and paid 3,400. They claimed USA model but I knew better. I was ready to call my credit card company if I didn't get it but it arrived an import model like I thought. I razzed them a bit about the USA model claim and they gave me one of those warranties from repairtech for free. I threw the warranty away I would never send my camera to a place like that. I blew out my firewire port and took the hit and paid spec comm to fix it. Some of us can' t guess when our repair is going to be done. Spec comm was on point and got me my camera fixed in a timely manner and kept me informed.

Only one BT-LH1700WP left.

We are also looking into selling our store demo BT-LH1700WP. Make an offer. :)
