"Growback Like A Starfish" // HVX 200 / Letus Extreme / Nikon Primes

Just wrapped another shoot with my HVX and lighting package. Same deal as last time!

Nikon Nikkor 28mm, 50mm, 105mm primes

I shot most of it on a P2 card (with the help of the 60gb P2Store), and was able to watch dailies on a 40" HDTV (It was pretty cool!).

I see a lot of views on this thread, but nobody seems to want to comment. Come on guys... a simple "good", "bad", etc. with maybe a little critique would be great! I post these pictures because I want feedback. I've seen others get great critiques and feedback, and I'd like some too!

I just love the look of Letus footage, grabs look very good!

Do you use the new nikkon mount?

Do you have some behind the scene photo's of the lighting?

Thanks for the comments; I'll have footage up as soon as the rough cut is done... I don't think I'm allowed to post footy till they have gone through everything.

I use the old Nikon mount, and I have absolutely no trouble with it.

Unfortunately the still photographer wasn't a film person and though she was supposed to take pictures of the actors only, so there aren't many bts pics, and they are all low resolution (lower than SD if you'd believe it...).


All of the outside shots used natural light, and all indoor shots were either lit by practical windows or using a Diva KinoFlo or a 1k fresnel and a tweenie.
