OK... you talked me into it.

Scarlet will be a surprise, no matter what you thought.
It will not be a shirt pocket camera.
It will look different than you imagined.
It will be all metal, no plastic.
We will not take reservations for it... it will not be for sale at the show.
It will weigh more than any pocket consumer camera.
It will record REDCODE RAW (duh).

RED ESP is the new auto focus feature for the RED ONE and the Scarlet. It reads the minds of the talent and the camera crew. Then it determines the correct focus.

It's all speculation right now, but boy is this going to be exciting!
 
It's going to be amazing, though the dumber the talent the worse the ESP function gets. ** Feature not available for teen comedies.
 
Who knows? With all of these new features, RED may be able to create RED "Puppet Master" combined with RED "ESP" which will allow the camera to read the directors mind and see how he wants the actor to act and then make the actor do it subconsciously. All I can say is I am expecting big things.
 
It's gonna be sad when it's not the HVX/EX Killer everyone wants it to be. Although I'm happy to eat my words. :D
 
I can't wait. Most exciting product announcement ever. This can make all the other announcement worthless. Now that would be awesome. They could also disappoint us, but I highly doubt it, because when the expectations are too high, they would have interfered with some confirmations earlier in the process (a good manager would).

At what time will it be announced (GMT+1 for Amsterdam)?
