VerticalBlu's new film titled "Convenience" is based from the same-titled screenplay written by acclaimed author Cori Orlowski. Cori is the author of several novels and published stories for various publications.
Convenience is the story of a young man faced with choices. He still lives in the small town he grew up in, working the same job he held in highschool with the same friends at his side. Through his searching, dialogue and obstacles presented in his path, he soons learns to face the existance that has been chosen for him and make a choice of his own.
Filmed in Heber-Overgaard Arizona, "Convenience", a VerticalBlu Film, is releasing its first film on DVD May 15th 2008. Based on life in a small town, "Convenience" was filmed in one week and on a $1500 budget with local actors and soundtrack from local musicians. This full feature film was submitted to Sundance and over 30 film festivals across the country.
The 80 page screenplay was shot on the HVX200 with the RedRock M2 Adapter and Nikon Lenses.
Total production budget was $1500 and production schedule ran only 7 days.
