Hi all. I live in Melbourne Australia and I want to buy an HVX200 NTSC online as the HVX200 PAL in Australia is too expensive ($6000 - $7900). Can anyone suggest the cheapest website from which to buy one (eg in the US/UK?) I'm especially interested in buying one with an equipment kit (eg tripod, case and extra battery). Thanks for your help.

P.s. This is an awesome site!

You can find lots of "cheap" places to buy them online by searching google and ebay. ALTHOUGH if its too cheap its probably to good to be true. its called grey market and its best to stay away.

You would be better off saving a little extra money and buying one from an authorized dealer such as b&h.

B&H is the way to go, they will sell you a PAL version...just make sure to order the right one. (We ordered a floor model DVX for work months ago, and the salesmen neglected to tell us it was PAL!)

If you buy the camera from B&H, don't get the P2 cards there, they're always more expensive than other places.

Spec-Comm is a good option.
