My camera is used but good as new, make me an offer, $2,600.00 or better offer

You might have some trouble selling an XL2 at that price without accessories. It took me forever to get 2k for my old XL2 a couple of months ago.
 
I could throw in my bogen/manfrotto tripod, but let's see what happens.... maybe I'll sell it on ebay
 
With a tripod the $2500 buck range is totes doable. I kept getting people offering $1500 on the internet, so I just gave it up to ebay...got 2k.

You should be able to get around $2K here if you put on your salesman hat. Please don't take this as critical - try to focus your posting on the benefits of the camera to the perspective buyer (folks aren't as interested in why you are selling your camera or which camera you need, that's a long shot). If you are going to spend $2K for a purchase, you'd like a bit more than "My camera is used but good as new" without any pix.

When it comes time to sell my camera, I'll enumerate everything included, lots of pictures (especially close-up of the lens), a few sentences of its origin, usage, etc. I tend to go overboard, also including weblinks of video footage using the camera. And I try to personalize the offer, discussing things I do / don't do to show how much I care for my beloved camera. It may cost an hour of my time but since that's the stuff I look for when I buy used gear, I figure others will be more likely to buy it at a fair price.

thanks a lot moonlit, I'll take your advice. Plus I'm thinking about selling it as a package, I have two track dollies I don't plan on using anytime soon, and I'll see what else I can throw in it, so I can offer it for 3,000. I'll let this post die off and come back later with a better sell. Thanks.
