Freshwater surfing short film

I encode everything with mpeg 4. It's only a 3 minute video, but I figure with everyone on high speed connections, larger files aren't an issue anymore. I'd rather wait an extra few minutes for a high quality download than a mediocre one.

1/4GB for five minutes? How did you encode that?

Ditto... you should be able to get this down to 50 mb using H.264 and still keep it very clean!

My download speed from http://www.speedtest.net/ shows 4148 Kbps while filefront.com is serving the file to me at half that speed... 2500 Kbps (305 kB/s) , so it's going to take 12+ mins just to download it. :thumbdown

250mb.. LOL. That's crazy for a 3 minute vid. You should be able to have sweet looks 640x360 footie at 100 megs or less.

No doubt, AMAZING! I would be so involved with the story if there was one. PRETTY DANG AWESOME.

some of the quality looked far superior, I believe than the HVX. it's knowing how to use it?

I just got around to watching the 250MB video I downloaded yesterday, that looks sweet. Great looking footage, good choice of music, and nicely edited.

I frequently encode QT/H.264 at 640x360 @ 1Mbps and it looks good at that bitrate. You can probably drop your bitrate down to that without any problem.
