Just finished a three day shoot, my first time DPing a film not written/directed by me, and also first time shooting seriously with the Letus Xtreme.

Filled up a FS-100 and a half :)

720p 24Pn

Nikon Nikkor 105mm, 50mm, 28mm (all used).

Tell me what you guys think! These are full res un-corrected grabs from the raw footage.

Looks great! Seriously, the lighting is very good and you have some cool compositions there.
Great job

Nice. Like Smettli said, "cool compositions".
If you are at liberty to do so, can you give us some background on the story? The grabs have got me interested!

Thanks for the comments gentlemen!

I'll probably have the fine cut posted here in early May, so suffice it to say for now that it is a cynical examination of religion.

really nice stills -

great contrast and colour.

PLEASE PLEASE don't go bleach bypass on us!!! ;)

Most of the scenes I lit by bouncing a 1.2K HMI into a white bounce card. For the night shots where the HMI is obviously outside for a backlight I used a 1k Fresnel, 650 Fresnel, and two 300 Fresnels bouncing into a wall to light people inside.

I lucked out with the door shot, because I had been very worried about being able to balance the interior/exterior light for that scene. The day turned out to be a perfectly dim cloudy day, and all I needed was the HMI and a 1k with full CTB inside to get matching intensities.
