Marshall 7" video Monitor V-R70P-HDA $1100 (+ shipping and 3% for paypal)

w/ Nebtek Panasonic battery adapter and IDX battery adapters , A/C adapter, Hoodman and updated power board*.

(*The original power boards were subject to blowing from a power surge.)

Extra 1/4" screw adapter so it's ready to mount upside down or right-side up.

Y/C, Composite Video, and RGB component input and loop thru; Blue Gun; 16:9 or 4:3

Great for 35mm adapter with an HVX200.

Excellent condition.

Nebtek sells this for $1599 and I've never seen it new for less. They make the Panasonic batt upgrade so if you buy it separately you have to send it to them for the upgrade & it will cost more altogether.

It's a little over a year and a half old. Don't have the docs in front of me so i don't recall exactly.

Its seen pretty light use though. Bought it for my HVX200 but I've never primarily made my living form that camera and rarely work it more than 6 days a month if that. In the last 5 months it hasn't worked more than a handful of days.

About six months ago (shortly out of warranty) it didn't turn on one day and when I sent it in to Marshall they said it was because of a power surge and it needed an updated board. When I questioned them about the "updated board" they paused for a moment then admitted that the original power boards had been defective and replaced it for free. They also assured me that it didn't affect anything else and there weren't any other boards that needed "updating".

That's pretty much the history. It does have a finger print or two that don't seem to wipe off but you absolutely don't see them when its on. I have pics available and you'll see I have velcro all over the thing that I can leave on for you or take off.

The velcro in the front is to get a good bite with the Hoodman.

I've also put velcro around the battery compartment. You may have read reports on DVXUser that aftermarket batteries can sometimes fall off the Marshall mount. As I had the DVXUser batts I found a way to tie the batts in with velcro for security. Works great and its simple. I can take those off or leave it on.

I also discovered a great way to mount the Marshall on the HVX with a bracket from Nebtek and a bogen ball head. It mounts at the hotshoe but in a way that's solid and reinforced. I don't think I want to sell those pieces here but I'll show you how to do it. Beats a Noga arm i think. Pieces cost around $150 or less.

Its was great for the HVX but I'm upgrading to a Panasonic that will cost me over $3K before I'm done. The hoodman and the extra screw in bracket are probably worth about $75 and the Panasonic batt upgrade is about $210 so it would go for around $1675 at Nebtek today.

Seems like a fair price to me.
